Talkspace Social Media Sadness

ART DIRECTION. EXPERIENTIAL OOH

Fighting social media addiction without asking people to open social media.

To launch Talkspace's clinically backed program addressing the addictive effects of social media, we created an out-of-home experience that mirrored the warped realities of platforms like Instagram, Snapchat, and Facebook.

The irony wasn't lost on us. Rather than asking people to tap, swipe, or share another post, we deliberately stepped away from digital. Visitors experienced the distorted perceptions created by social media in the real world—making the message impossible to scroll past.

By the end of the campaign, thousands of New Yorkers had experienced a different perspective on social media consumption and discovered healthier ways to stay connected.
